Regional Conference Hope plus will participate in a big Regional Conference of Fast-Tracking the
Implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption
in Southern Africa
The organisation will take part in discussing best solutions of fighting corruption that have a number of negative impacts in countries developments. For example, corruption disproportionately affects disadvantaged groups, specifically the poor, preventing social inclusion and promoting inequality. Evidence also shows that corruption is a dominant factor driving fragile countries towards state failure. No country is immune from corruption and governments need to work together as well aswith partners from business and civil society. Hope plus being a child and youth focus organisation always fights for a better tomorrow which would mean a generation with either much reduced or free from corruption. Hence our participation is very important
